I’ve just made my first sale. What do I do now?

First of all, congratulations! Now let’s get your item shipped to the customer.

Find your orders

While logged on to Baphomart, mouse over the profile icon in the top right hand corner of the screen and select Orders from the drop down list. You can see all of your orders here. Orders that have just been placed are automatically set to processing.

See where to send the order

Click on the order number to bring up full details of the order. Here you can see the shipping address for the buyer as well as their contact details. If you have set up Live Rates for shipping then you can print your shipping label from here as well.

Contact the buyer

If you want to send the buyer a message then you can use the Add Note button under Order Notes. This allows you to message the buyer without giving out your personal email/phone number. If you are using tracked mail then you can use the button here to add tracking information for the customer.

Go back to the orders list and look under Action. Here you will see options to download pdfs of the invoice and packing slip for your order.

What do I do one I’ve shipped the item?

Now that the item is in the mail it’s time to let the customer know that their order is on the way. On the orders list, go back to the Action column and click on the tick next to the order. This will mark it as complete and let the customer know the item has been dispatched. If you need to change the order status for an reason, you can edit it by clicking on the order number and going to general details.
