Bad fox Trophy Head Brooch

The Bad Fox was one of Bumble & Earwigs first faux-taxidermy trophy head brooches and it has remained a favourite!

It has evolved over the years, to become fiercer and more akin to the antique Peter Spicer mounted fox  heads that inspired it.

Each head is individually needle-felted by hand, using fine merino wool, so no two are quite the same. They are finished with glass eyes, individually hand sculpted polymer clay teeth, and mounted on wooden shields, stained to mimic antique oak.

Available with brooch backs on picture loops so that it can be wall hung. Brooch backs allow flexibility, if you do not wish to wear it, this can also be used to attach it to home finishings, or hang it form a nail on the wall. Picture loops allow them to fit closer to the wall, if this is how you wish to display it.
