One late night in the early 90’s a band called Nirvana made their first UK television appearance on The Word. Like most people my age, our worlds changed from that moment on. The video for Smells Like Teen Spirit encompassed the zeitgeist of Each creepy cutie comes with pom-poms, ‘Anarchy’ symbol on her dress, ‘KC’ heart tattoo, and little features that make each doll unique.
