This grave good / valentines gift is made from natural coloured recycled cotton calico and black cotton. This is a very light item made from fabric and stuffed with kapoc, kapok fibers come from a seed pod harvested from the Ceiba tree, it is a soft vegan stuffing that is naturally hypoallergenic, and a natural alternative to less sustainable options. I have added blue stitched detail to the beetle’s abdomen. on the back of the heart is a little pocket which contains the the slip of paper describing the purpose of the heart scarab. You can add your own secret love note, making this a perfect valentines gift.
I lovingly handmake each of my pieces, please expect slight variations between your order and what you see in the photo, it will always be beautiful, and full of character.
I can customise the heart scarab, such as making it in a different size, colour etc. I can decorate it in many ways from embroidery and painting to applique, names and phrases can also be added, available on request.
This heart scarab is for decoration only, it is not suitable for children and is not a toy, it is not washable, except for gentle wiping with a damp cloth.
The fabrics that I have used are 100% recycled cotton calico, and black cotton fabric, and the stuffing is made from kapoc, making this item ethically vegan and sustainable. My packaging is plastic free and recyclable/biodegradable/reused.
