Bespoke Needle-felted Pet Portrait/Memento Mori

I can create a miniature faux-taxidermy sculpted portrait of your (or a loved ones) beloved pet. Images are just a few examples of past pet portraits. I have been creating these for over 10 years now, memorialising all kinds of beloved animals.

Each miniature trophy head will be needle-felted by hand, finished with glass eyes and an individually hand-sculpted and painted nose. They are then placed on a wooden backing shield of your choice.

All I need is plenty of photos to capture all of their markings and personality. I will keep you updated throughout the process and will request more photographs or ask questions about your pet to make sure I get it just right. I will then email Photos of the finished piece will then be emailed to you for approval before I post it out to you.

They can be created with or without backing shields and fitted with brooch backs, or picture loops depending on your preference. I used to make these only as brooches, but found that many people prefer to wall mount them, just like real pieces of taxidermy!

Sizes are approximate as these depend on the head shape of the animal being created.
