Description
I learned printmaking as a way of reproducing my artwork affordably while retaining the value and feel of the handmade. Since then I’ve learned to love the medium in its own right and am developing a style in synergy with my drawn work and the qualities of the medium I’ve come to love.
This gorgeous 5 layer print uses neon and metallic inks and colour blends on almost every layer to really glow.
Adapted from a drawing of mine depicting a post modern surrealist & visionary portrait inspired by Nordic myths, tarot and dreams.
Tarot has long been a hobby of mine & combining iconography from many faiths and cultures to create psychedelic, unsettling and deeply spiritual work is an outcome of this study.
